Subscription

Subscription for a pool is easy. All you have to do is submit your pertinent info on the registration tab, let me know which league you are interested in joining and how you will be submitting your fees.

Predicting the games

Each pool is meant to be as easy as possible.  Most of the pools work on a simple Pick ’em format.  Scores and tie-breakers will be added as needed.  In some occasions, Over-Unders will be added with explanation.

Teams and game info is added in advance.  Most pools will use a simple Pick Form provided on this website.  Your selected picks and league standings will be provided to you each week for your information.  Minding submittal dates and times is important for the pool to be compiled, reviewed (for accuracy and mistakes – let’s admit, we all make them) and fairness.  If the picks are submitted late, you may be subject to rejection or removal.

The scoring

For most of the pools, each correct pick is worth 1 point.  Certain pools will have specified point values.  Some pools are subject to game tie-breakers. In general, most correct points wins that week, round and season. Some pools will have entire-season prizes or championship prizes.  Other ad hoc prizes may also be offered

Starting 2018, any player that wins that has not paid their registration fee will not win a prize!

Prizes

Prizes are awarded weekly or by the round/season.  These will be explained in the specific pool rules on the specific pool page.  In general, prizes are based on the total pool pot and divided amongst total prizes to be awarded.  In some cases, if the pool count is low, prizes may be reduced or eliminated.

Starting 2018, any player that wins a round that has not yet paid their registration fee will not win a prize!

In no case will prize money be kept for the host to profit from.  All funds will go towards the pool.

Additional rules & information

Some leagues and questions require special rules and considerations. This kind of information will be listed specific pool rules page.

Hosting the website and time spent organizing the pool is generously donated by the Host.  In some cases, the Host may ask for contributions or reimbursements to pay the cost for specific pools.  In no case, will Host accept compensation for the pools.  The Host also reserves the right to ask players to leave or be removed due to inappropriate behavior.

Disclaimer

Sports betting is a form of gambling that is not legal in all states.  Internet gambling is legal in the state of Nevada if the site has registered for a gaming license in the state of Nevada.  For these reasons, this site does not perform betting transactions online.  To participate in a pool, a registration fee is required where these funds are pooled together for prizes.  Prize amounts will be determined by total participation for each event.
